We started working with NDN Brands and JHB in the fall of 2019. After five months of working together, JHB’s Instagram following increased by 1764%. In addition, social media engagement and reach increased seven-fold. Working together, we developed an on-brand social media strategy designed to increase brand awareness and sales for Jai Ho Beer.

In 2018, I was approached by Nature’s Path Foods and asked to write on-brand and SEO-relevant blog posts about trending organic and green living issues. The intent was to create quality blog posts to help boost their SEO rankings, provide valuable content to share in their enewsletters and improve site hits (SEO).

ORGANIC COUNCIL OF ONTARIO
You could say that, apart from growing up on a ‘mostly’ organic farm, my experience with the organic food and beverage sector all started with the Organic Council of Ontario. From 2012-13 I filled a communications position for someone on parental leave, and from 2016-18 I served as a board member for the organization. While working in the communications role, I helped to increase social media followers by 30%, make improvements to their website and email communications, assist with a membership campaign through social media and content marketing and support communications around events. Most importantly, though, I was introduced to some incredibly inspiring food and beverage entrepreneurs doing amazing work for a better food system, and I got a taste for how important marketing and messaging is for businesses and initiatives 💚
